Lecture Successful–Wednesday, March 26th

We had a lecture this evening in the chapel of the family life center on the early ministry of the Lord and the call of the apostles.  I also gave a short testimony and update about what I experienced at the hospital.  About 35 people showed up, so thank you to those who took the time to participate!  And thank you so much for the prayers!  For the next two weeks we launch into the Sermon on the Mount, which represents part of the beating heart of the Lord’s ministry.  This seems appropriate for the remaining weeks of Lent.  The specific readings are mentioned in earlier posts–just take a few minutes to scroll down and find it.

Thank you again for your prayers and support, and I look forward to continuing this scriptural journey in the year to come.  It appears as if Archbishop Aymond has extended my assignment at Lourdes and I will not be going anywhere for the forseeable future, so thank you again for your prayers, affection and support.

It was a lovely evening. I believe I am going to start using the phrase “freak the sheep out”. Has a ring to it.

I am thankful to hear that you will be with us for the foreseeable future. You are a blessing to our parish.
